We Gratefully Accept Donations

Your gift can make a miracle by helping us provide skill building, shelter, clothing, food, transportation and so much MORE for low-income and homeless women and children!  Your gift can bring a smile to a soul scarred by abuse, violence and neglect.

More than 90% of women who seek help at the Women's Center are victims of abuse or suffer from a disabling mental or physical disorder .

Help us continue to make a difference in women's lives, by making your contribution to the Women's Center of Wake County.

There are several ways you can donate to the Women's Center of Wake County:

In-Kind Donations

The following is a list of items that are constantly needed by Women's Center clients :

Toiletries
Household Items
Office supplies
Baby items (diapers, food, wipes, etc.)
Cleaning products
Women's underwear
Food (preferably non-perishable items)
Paper products (paper towels, paper plates, paper cups, etc.)
Gift cards and certificates
Phone cards
Food cards
Once you bring your donations to the Women's Center, you will fill out a very simple form that will serve as your receipt. The Women's Center is required to say that we accept no gifts in exchange for our services. All donations are tax-deductible and the donor must place a valued amount on the items that he/she donates.

If you or a group with whom you are involved, would like to gather items for the Women's Center, we invite you to contact our administrative staff to inquire about our most immediate needs.

Consider holding a food drive or donating your
used cell phones.

Monetary Donations

Money is always appreciated as it allows us to assign it wherever the need is greatest. You can contribute online or via mail by clicking here.

What makes our volunteers so special is that they give of their time. Please fill out our online form if you would like to volunteer.
